HOW TO ENJOY SAVORA SOUS VIDE

Enjoy chef-quality sous vide meat endless ways by enjoying Savora Sous Vide with your favorite dishes.

How to Prepare Savora

                     

OVEN (PREFERRED)

GLAZE

  • Preheat oven to 400⁰ F
  • Cut open meat packaging, drain liquid and place meat in 9×9 oven-safe pan (if pan is too large, sauce may burn on the sides)
  • Cut open sauce packet and glaze the meat, making sure to fully cover the meat

BAKE

  • Bake until warm, approximately 25-30 minutes

SERVE

  • Slice the tenderloin, place on platter or plate, and serve family style
  • Pairs well with jasmine or fried rice, honey gingered carrots, sautéed green beans, or any other favorite sides!

SIMMERING WATER (ALTERNATIVE)

  • Remove pouch from sleeve and tray
  • Add water into medium sized pot and put pouch in pot
  • Cover and heat on medium for 12-15 minutes
  • Lower heat, remove cover, and heat for additional 5 minutes (stirring occasionally)

MICROWAVE (ALTERNATIVE)

We don’t recommend it, but in a pinch:

  • Cut a 1/4 inch slit in top of pouch
  • Place pouch on microwave-safe plate and warm 3 minutes or until hot. Cooking time will vary depending on your microwave
  • Open pouch and empty product on a microwave-safe plate
  • Cut open sauce packet and drizzle directly on top of meat. For better sauce coverage and caramelization, heat for 15 seconds.
  • Pair with your favorite sides, serve and enjoy!

STOVE TOP (PREFERRED)

PAT 

  • Separate the chicken thighs with your hands while the meat is in the bag
  • Open bag, drain juices, place meat on a paper towel
  • Gently pat the meat dry for optimal sear

SEAR

  • Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in skillet on high heat
  • Once oil is HOT, sear each side of the meat for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until warmed through

SERVE

  • Pairs well with pita or rice, falafel, hummus, or any other favorite sides!

SIMMERING WATER (ALTERNATIVE)

  • Remove pouch from sleeve and tray
  • Add water into medium sized pot and put pouch in pot
  • Cover and heat on medium for 12-15 minutes
  • Lower heat, remove cover, and heat for additional 5 minutes (stirring occasionally)

MICROWAVE (ALTERNATIVE)

We don’t recommend it, but in a pinch:

  • Puncture the pouch and place meat on microwave-safe dish
  • Heat on high for 3 minutes or until warmed through. Cooking times will vary depending on your microwave
  • Open pouch and empty product onto plate
  • Pair with your favorite sides, serve and enjoy!

STEAM IN BAG (PREFERRED)

  • Remove bag from tray, cut a 1/4 inch slit in top of bag, and heat in microwave for 1 minute
  • Carefully remove bag from microwave and gently break apart meat with your hands without removing from bag
  • Place bag back in microwave for an additional 2 minutes
  • Let rest in microwave for 1 minute before touching, as bag will be hot

SHRED

  • Cut open bag and place meat in center of serving dish or cooling tray
  • Pour remaining juice over meat and shred with 2 forks, mixing the juices with the meat as you shred

SERVE

  • Pairs well with tacos, fried plantains & rice, avocado slices, grilled corn, or any other favorite sides!

STOVE TOP (ALTERNATIVE)

For extra flavor and crispy edges, try heating in a skillet:

  • Place a non-stick pan on high heat and add 1-2 tablespoons of oil to the pan
  • Cut open bag and drain liquid into a separate dish, saving it for later
  • Pat the meat surface dry and place in the pre-heated pan
  • Sear until edges are crispy and meat is warmed through – about 3 minutes on each side
  • Add the liquid into the pan and cover for an additional 4-5 minutes or until warmed through
  • Place seared pork and liquid into a bowl and shred with two forks or another shredding utensil

  • Remove pouch from sleeve and tray
  • Add water into medium sized pot and put pouch in pot
  • Cover and heat on medium for 12-15 minutes
  • Lower heat, remove cover, and heat for additional 5 minutes (stirring occasionally)
