PREFERRED COOKING METHOD
STOVETOP (HOT WATER)
Fill large sauce pan or stock pot with water and bring to a simmer. Make sure the water does not boil. You should only see small bubbles rising to the surface.
Remove the pouch of product from the tray and place the unopened pouch in the pot and return to a simmer.
Heat at a simmer or lower for 20 minutes. Remove the pouch with product and let rest for 3 minutes.
If desired, the meat can be shredded by kneading the unopened pouch with oven mitts or pot holders until product inside pouch is shredded.
Carefully open the pouch to serve the beef and broth with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
ALTERNATIVE COOKING METHODS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Remove pouch from tray, cut open pouch, and place contents (beef & broth) in a baking pan. Do not use the black tray from this package as it is not oven safe.
Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and shred beef if desired with two forks. Serve both beef and broth.
MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS - WE DON’T RECOMMEND IT, BUT IN A PINCH:
Open pouch and pour contents of pouch into a covered microwave safe dish or bowl. Warm for 4 minutes, remove from microwave, and stir.
Warm an additional 4 minutes, remove from microwave, and stir.
Warm an additional 2 minutes, remove from microwave, and stir. Time will vary depending on your microwave.
Let product rest in microwave for 5 minutes before serving.
